Keppel Land Vietnam and Panasonic Vietnam to Collaborate on Smart Solutions for Sustainable Urbanisation

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – Keppel Land Vietnam and Panasonic Vietnam have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore the development of a suite of solutions for sustainable urbanisation, spanning smart mobility, smart community, and environmental solutions, which are intended to be applied across Keppel Land’s projects in Vietnam.

The MOU was signed by Ms. Christina Goh, General Director (Vietnam) of Keppel Land and Mr. Marukawa Yoichi, General Director of Panasonic Vietnam, and witnessed by Mr. Joseph Low, President (Vietnam) of Keppel Land, and Mr. Paul Wong, CEO of Panasonic Consumer Marketing Asia Pacific.

Ms. Christina Goh, General Director (Vietnam) of Keppel Land, said, “We are pleased to embark on this collaboration, which will leverage Keppel Land’s deep experience in smart and sustainable urban space solutions, as well as Panasonic’s leading expertise in smart electronics. Through this partnership, we will create smart, community-centric solutions that will contribute to furthering sustainable development in Vietnam, a key growth market for Keppel Land.”

Mr. Marukawa Yoichi, General Director of Panasonic Vietnam, said, “The cooperation with Keppel Land is part of Panasonic’s efforts to realize our vision and mission of creating healthy, comfortable and happy lives for Vietnamese families, contributing to the country’s sustainable development for the next 50 years through wellness solutions with human-centered technology.”

The collaboration between Keppel Land Vietnam and Panasonic Vietnam will explore the ideation and implementation of innovative urban space solutions, including mobility services for optimal safety, Internet of things (IoT) sensor networks, as well as smart landscape irrigation solutions.

In Vietnam, Keppel Land is well known for its quality residential developments, such as Estella Heights, Celesta Rise, and Empire City, as well as Grade A commercial developments like Saigon Centre in Ho Chi Minh City. As Vietnam continues to undergo rapid urbanisation, Keppel remains committed to contributing to the country’s sustainable development journey with its diverse urban space solutions.
